I baked bread last night. It's the first time I've made bread since I moved, and it was a nice change of pace. I used entirely whole wheat flour -- usually I'd mix in some white flour, but I couldn't find the cannister -- and a short rise time, and so the loaf is denser than what I usually bake. The density is somewhere between that of an ordinary loaf and a fruitcake.
